Delete your Vireldan Idle account

Vireldan Idle is made by an independent developer in the Netherlands. This page explains how to have your account and its data deleted, what that removes, and what survives it.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route, it happens straight away, and it does not wait on anyone.

1. Open Vireldan Idle and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen, to Delete account.
3. Tap Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period, no recovery window, and no way for us to restore a deleted character afterwards. The app then starts you on a fresh, empty account.

Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the game, lost the device, or cannot open the app for any reason, write to us and we will do it for you.

• Email support@vireldanidle.com with the subject Account deletion request
• Include your player handle, the display name you had in game. Most accounts have no email address attached, so the handle is usually the only thing that identifies yours.
• If you had attached an email address, or a Google or Apple sign-in, mention it too. Writing from that address makes the match certain and lets us act on it faster.

We will confirm by reply once it is done, and always within 30 days of your request. In practice it is usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your character, and every skill, level and item
• Your inventory, your equipment, and everything in your vault
• Guild membership, and any guild chat messages you posted
• Your arena record and leaderboard entries
• The weaving patterns you had learned
• The account itself, with any email address, Google or Apple sign-in attached to it
• Your push notification token, if you had notifications on

All of it goes in one step. There is no archived copy kept on the side, and no version of your save left in a backup we can pull from.

What is kept

Crash reports, feedback you sent us, and anonymous usage events stay, but the link to your account is removed from them. Once that link is gone they cannot be connected back to you.

We keep them because they tell us the game is broken without telling us who you are. A crash report with no player attached still shows the bug.

If you never signed in

Vireldan Idle makes an account for you the first time you open it, with no email address and no password. That is still a real account and it holds all of your progress, so it can be deleted exactly like any other.

It does mean there is no email address on file for us to recognise you by. If you are writing to us about an account like this, send your player handle, and tell us anything else you remember about it: your guild, your house, roughly when you started. We would rather ask you a follow-up question than delete the wrong person's character, because we cannot undo it afterwards.
