Weight and Edge
Every weapon keeps its own rhythm
Daggers strike fast and light, mauls land slow and heavy, and everything in between sits where you would expect. Each weapon now swings at its own real speed, so picking a weapon is picking a playstyle, not just a bigger damage number.
You and your enemy keep separate time
You and whatever you are fighting now attack on fully independent cooldowns. Speeding yourself up with mastery or gear no longer drags the enemy along with you, so investing in attack speed finally pays off the way it should. The combat panel shows your swing speed and theirs side by side, in seconds per swing.
Dual daggers, done right
Pair two daggers for a fast off-hand flurry, or keep a shield up for safety. Heavy weapons take both hands now, so a maul can no longer be matched with an off-hand dagger, and the equipment screen shows exactly which slots a two-handed weapon locks.
Nothing lost to a full vault
If your vault has no room for a new item type, crafting now stops and tells you with an in-game notice, instead of quietly throwing away what you made. Sell a stack or buy a slot, then carry on.
A fully illustrated arsenal
Hundreds of new hand-painted pieces: every armour set, plate gear, weapons, arrows, trophies, and the house rings and amulets cut to each house signature gemstone. The whole inventory now reads as bespoke art.
Fixes
- Crafted items are never discarded when the vault is at its slot cap.
- Weapon per-hit damage was retuned across the board so fast and slow weapons land at comparable overall power under the new speed model.
- Shield damage reduction and off-hand daggers rebalanced.
