The Iron Solstice
The Commission rides
Act 1 of the Vireldan story is here, rebuilt and expanded: from a houseless morning in Oxbridge, through the Queen’s charge, to the investigation at Blackwater Crossing. More scenes, slower and steadier pacing, and the whole road told properly instead of rushing beat to beat.
A story you take in sittings
The longest interrogations no longer arrive as one endless wall of text. They break into short chapters you begin from your quest tracker, so you can set the phone down between them and pick the thread back up when you are ready.
Travel that respects your time
Journeys between places are now a simple tap to continue, not a bar you sit and watch fill.
Rewards worth the road
Finish a quest that grants an item or a lasting boon and a reward card now shows you exactly what you earned. Rook sends you off with a satchel of healing draughts, Captain Rhendall presses his own service blade into your hand, and closing the Blackwater inquest leaves you permanently sharper.
Learn the ropes for real
The opening now walks you through the whole loop with Quartermaster Wulfe: gather, smelt, equip, fight, and patch yourself up, so nothing about the game is a mystery by the time the Crown sends for you.
Fixes
- Gathering and combat quests now tick up with each item and each kill, live, instead of catching up in lumps.
- Story dungeons now play their opening, boss, and victory lines during the run.
- A "travel there" step you were already standing in now completes instead of stalling.
- Offline and background progress now credits your active quest and daily goals correctly.
